Ms. Lopata is a management consultant with over twenty years of experience in the information technology and investment management industries. She has been involved in all stages of a program life cycle, including planning, governance, management, development, implementation and support. Ms. Lopata has a successful track record in creating strategic and tactical plans while fostering a high level of consensus across disparate organizations.
Prior to starting her consulting career, Ms. Lopata was Director of Compliance, Business Risk, and Transaction Systems at Deutsche Asset Management, where she planned for the acquisition of Zurich Scudder Investments by Deutsche Bank, ensuring that the compliance and risk systems were positioned to support expanded business requirements. She consolidated legacy systems to achieve synergies and reduce costs in the combined organization.
Ms. Lopata has managed several implementations/upgrades of the Charles River Development’s CRIMS™ Compliance System, enabling automated pre-trade and post-trade guideline monitoring for various business lines in multiple companies. She also established a guideline monitoring program for a client based on best practices in the industry.
