Michelle Devereaux is a detailed-oriented investment management software implementation professional with over 18 years in the financial industry. She has extensive experience in installation, implementation, configuration and support on compliance and trade order management systems. Her ability to keep projects focused on key outcomes has helped her client achieve consistent success on mission-critical projects.
Ms. Devereaux is a subject matter expert on Compliance and has successfully been involved with software implementations/upgrades/conversions at over 25 investment management firms sites. She has experience with all asset types as well the specific knowledge on data items needed to support compliance and trading.
Recently she was the Lead Business analyst at a Boston Global Fixed Income and Equity Investment Manager with over $3 billion in AUM. Ms. Devereaux was the subject matter expert (SME) for the CRD compliance upgrade to Version 9. She was responsible for the planning, consolidating, construction and testing for over 5,000 unique rules across multiple offices. She was also responsible for the review, set up and accuracy of all reference data, system configuration, user access, workflows, training, documentation and support. Ms. Devereaux identified, analyzed and tested new features and documented gaps. She was accountable for analyzing and documenting Bloomberg Data License mapping as well as managing data issues across all asset types. Ms. Devereaux performed SQL queries and reports which helped to significantly reduce data problems.
Ms. Devereaux was the lead for planning, scoping and setting up a Proof of Concept (POC) for Linedata Compliance. She worked with the business and technical teams on documenting business requirements and success criteria. She was responsible for the creation of the project plan, mapping data from the source system as well as the vendor source tables. Ms. Devereaux extracted security data, reference data and rules from the legacy system, performed data manipulation and translations and provided the data in Linedata specification formats. She worked closely with the vendor on data scrubbing and test setup as well as issue identification and resolution.
